I; shiwon, firstly say hello to our sina netizens.
S; hello evryone, i'm choi shiwon, it's been a long time.
I; i feel that shiwon looks a bit like takeshi kaneshiro, i think differently from others, has there been anyone else that said this to you?
S; nope.
I; this time you're working with chinese actors, also a few japanese in the production team, these few years the japanese-korean movies are pretty huge, are there any films that stand out in shiwon's mind?
S; <the promise>, <musa>.
I; then what do you think about <musa>?
S; i feel that the pictures for <musa> are very natural, especially good, it's a more high end movie, the content is also very good.
I; the first time working with a chinese team, is there any difference between the chinese backstage production, for example the director or the other actors?
S; i don't feel that there's any difference, the atmosphere when we start filming is about the same, the main difference is the language.
I; today other including the outdoor press conference & the indoor interview, i feel that it's basically a shiwon fan meet, do you feel like that? the fans are too enthusiastic, we didn't expect it, did shiwon expect it?
S; i also didn't expect it, it's too thrilling, because i don't have much publicity in mainland china, it's quite little, under these circumstances there's still so many fans following me, i love them, i feel very happy, really thankful.
I; has shiwon read the <mogong> manga? also i feel that you look especially like a manga character, the squareish features?
S; it wasn't easy to get my hands on a copy of the <mogong> manga before the movie, when i wanted to read it, the director told me, don't read the manga because the manga is a bit different from the movie, he was afraid that after reading i'll feel differently about the characters in the movie, so he didn't let me read, so the copy of <mogong> is still at home.
I; you're a young korean man, and the korean fashion items might be a bit more, to your understanding, for example the chinese mo house culture {tl: i dunno -_-} including our traditional philosophies, is it very difficult?
S; because over in korea we also have special history classes, special chinese history, before when i was in class i was really interesed, specially liked to listen, so in this area i didn't find it hard to understand.
I; have you filmed traditional films before? including movies or television series, because now you have a movie already, what about television series? what do you think of your traditional outfit?
S; my first time, <mogong> is my first movie, the first time filming a traditional movie.
I; what do you think of your traditional outfit?
S; i really like it, i'm really happy, also i'm really happy with my costumes & hairdo.
I; in china during filming, because korean actors have a lot of experience, just now i heard andy lau praising shiwon, he waited so long, and his attitude is vry humble. in china was filming very tough? was it any fun?
S; i felt that the three months was really great, it wasn't anything especially tough, i adjusted to life here pretty well, not a lot of waiting around, it passed like that.
I; other than andy lau, what other chinese stars does shiwon like?
S; takeshi kaneshiro (laughs), there's a lot, because before i was quite concerned about the chinese scene, like the actor who plays my dad, wang zhi wen, also tony leung, takeshi kaneshiro, there's too many, i don't know who else to mention.
